Job Overview

C+C Apartment Management LLC is an industry leader in management and real estate operations, managing over 18,000 residential units across 400 multi-family buildings in the New York Tri-state area. The Handyperson role in Property Operations is pivotal in maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the residential environments.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor building and grounds for cleanliness and neat presentation
  • Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry and other maintenance tasks
  • Complete grounds maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, cultivating, and snow/ice debris removal
  • Maintain and store tools safely and securely
  • Report major repairs and security issues promptly
  • Handle emergency maintenance problems and on-call duties as required
  • Adhere to company policies with a strong emphasis on health and safety

Essential Job Functions

The role requires the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, perform medium to heavy physical work, and maintain good hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance and/or construction supervision
  • Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures and use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to interact with residents and handle complaints discreetly
  • Possession of ALC lead paint certification is a plus
