Job Overview

C+C Apartment Management LLC is a leader in residential property management servicing over 18,000 units in the New York Tri-state area. The Handyperson role in the Maintenance department supports day-to-day operations ensuring properties are well maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor building and grounds for neat presentation
  • Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks
  • Maintain tools, equipment and supplies appropriately
  • Complete grounds maintenance including lawn mowing, shrubbery trimming, and debris removal
  • Report and repair emergency issues and environmental hazards immediately
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
  • Handle emergency on-call duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

This position requires the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The role involves medium to heavy physical work including standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and frequent carrying up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
  • 1-2 years experience in maintenance or construction supervision
  • Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures
  • Ability to utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • ALC lead paint certification is a plus
