Handyperson (Property Operations)
C+C Apartment Management LLC is an industry leader in management and real estate operations, managing over 18,000 residential units across about 400 multi-family buildings in the New York Tri-state area.
Job Overview
This position supports property operations by performing minor repairs, maintenance, and grounds work. You will report to the Property Manager or Building Superintendent and be responsible for ensuring the property’s upkeep.
Areas of Responsibility
- Monitor building and grounds for cleanliness and order
- Perform painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and basic repairs
- Conduct grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and debris removal
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and orderly manner
- Report major repairs and emergency maintenance issues
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies
- Execute emergency on-call duties as required
Essential Job Functions
Ability to work in various weather conditions, undertake medium to heavy physical work, and maintain good eye/hand coordination.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance and/or construction supervision
- Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures and use of hand and power tools
- ALC lead paint certification is a plus
