Job Overview

C+C Apartment Management LLC is a leader in management and real estate operations, managing over 18,000 residential units. The Handyperson (Property Operations) supports property maintenance by performing a range of repair and upkeep tasks.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor building and grounds for presentation and cleanliness
  • Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related maintenance using hand tools
  • Follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Store supplies appropriately and maintain tools safely
  • Conduct grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and snow/ice removal
  • Remove and dispose trash as designated
  • Report major repairs and security violations to management
  • Address emergency maintenance issues immediately
  • Adhere to company policies with special attention to health and safety
  • Participate in on-call duties as required

Essential Job Functions

The role requires functioning both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, performing medium to heavy physical work including lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Good eye/hand coordination is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or construction supervision
  • Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures
  • Ability to interact with residents and handle complaints discreetly
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools common to maintenance, landscaping and construction
  • ALC lead paint certification
