Handyperson - Property Maintenance

C+C Apartment Management LLC, an industry leader in management and real estate operations, is seeking a dedicated Handyperson for property maintenance. This role supports day-to-day operations across multifamily properties in the New York Tri-State area.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor building and grounds for clean presentation
  • Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and related tasks using hand tools
  • Store supplies properly and maintain tools and equipment
  • Grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and snow/debris removal
  • Report emergencies and major repairs to supervisor
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Perform emergency on-call duties as required

Essential Job Functions

This role requires the ability to work in varied weather conditions, perform medium to heavy physical work, and maintain good eye/hand coordination.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Experience: 1-2 years in maintenance and/or construction supervision

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures
  • Ability to interact with residents and handle complaints
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools including circular saws, drills, and more
  • ALC lead paint certification
