Overview

C+C Apartment Management LLC is a leader in property management and real estate operations, managing over 18,000 residential units in New York Tri-state area. The Handyperson plays a crucial role in maintaining a neat, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor building and grounds for cleanliness
  • Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and maintenance tasks
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Store supplies appropriately
  • Conduct grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, cultivating, and snow/ice removal
  • Dispose of trash properly
  • Maintain and secure tools and equipment
  • Report major repairs and emergency maintenance issues
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies
  • Perform emergency on-call duties
  • Other related duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 100 lbs frequently.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1-2 years experience in maintenance or construction supervision
  • Basic janitorial knowledge
  • Ability to interact with residents professionally
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools such as circular saw, power drill, and more
  • ALC lead paint certification
