About Virtual Certified J1 Teachers

Proximity Learning Inc. is seeking certified virtual teachers for the 2025-26 school year. This remote role is open to entry-level educators with an active US state-issued teaching certification in Spanish, ELA, Bilingual, Mathematics (6-12), or Science (6-12) and a bachelor's degree. Proficiency in virtual teaching tools is required.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum: Active US state-issued teaching certification, Bachelor's degree, proficiency in virtual tools.

Preferred: At least one year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Integrate technology to differentiate and engage students.
  • Deliver live lessons for a minimum of 4 hours.
  • Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Represent the Proximity Learning brand positively.

Hardware Requirements & Perks

Necessary equipment: Laptop/Desktop (Windows 10/11 or Mac iOS 10.14+), 2 monitors, reliable Internet (50 Mbps minimum).
