Technical Writer at Recorded Future

We are currently seeking a seasoned Technical Writer, highly familiar with cyber intelligence, to enhance the production of analyst-generated insights within Recorded Future’s Payment Fraud Intelligence team.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer capable of articulating complex technical information clearly and concisely. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to transform research findings into polished, client-ready intelligence deliverables. What You’ll Do:
- Draft, refine, and finalize intelligence reports and technical product documentation through collaboration with subject matter experts, including those who may not be native English speakers.
- Adapt threat intelligence and analytical findings into clear, audience-appropriate content for various stakeholders, encompassing executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- Edit reports, marketing collateral, and presentations to ensure consistency in style, tone, spelling, and grammar.
- Create compelling visuals and infographics that effectively communicate complex relationships or metrics in an intuitive and engaging manner.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive editorial style guides, templates, and report formats to guarantee consistency and uphold a high standard of quality across all team intelligence products.
- Publish finished intelligence reports to client-facing platforms and coordinate the release of marketing collateral and product documentation with relevant stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong writing and project management skills are essential.
- Proven experience in developing, documenting, and enforcing editorial style guides and content governance standards.
- A commitment to high standards for content output, coupled with a sense of urgency.
- At least three years of technical writing or other professional writing experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or English.
- Naturally organized with the ability to manage aggressive deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- A deep understanding of intelligence standards and the capability to tailor technical complexity to meet the diverse needs of different audiences.
- Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence and fraud prevention experience is an advantage; however, applicants with limited experience but a demonstrated ability and desire to develop subject matter expertise will be equally considered.
- Fluency in Chinese, Russian, or Ukrainian is an advantage but not required.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $66,000-$99,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary displayed reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by state, work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K.
