Project Manager I
ReCon Management Services is seeking a Project Manager for a client in Orange, TX. Preferred candidates will have Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degrees.
Summary
This position is responsible for managing engineering related projects. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined requirements.
Duties
- Develop business relationships with clients.
- Define business requirements and work scopes.
- Create detailed control budgets and project timelines.
- Manage assigned resources to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for equipment procurement.
- Maintain proper project documentation and safety.
- Promote professionalism and safety on worksites.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering with at least five (5) years of industrial work experience in areas such as refinery, petrochemical, chemical, offshore, pipeline or utility industries; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirements
Must have a valid Driver’s License. A professional license is preferred but not required.
