The Role
The North America Financial Partnerships role is key to Reap’s growth. This role combines strategy and execution, defining our approach, convincing partners to join, and directly scaling Reap across North America.
You Will
- Develop and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy centered on stablecoin-backed card solutions.
- Build and manage deep, trusted relationships with card networks, BIN sponsor banks, settlement banks, and other key partners.
- Identify, structure, and negotiate commercially viable partnerships that align with Reap’s go-to-market strategy.
- Act as an advocate for Reap’s business model, driving joint innovation and ensuring partner buy-in.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare, launch, and operationalize partnership-enabled products.
- Serve as the strategic interface between partners and internal stakeholders to manage initiatives and uphold commercial terms.
- Navigate complex regulatory environments aligning partner risk with Reap’s business and compliance strategy.
- Continuously improve commercial terms through strong banking and partner relationships across treasury, FX, and working capital.
You Might Be a Fit If You Have
- 10+ years of experience in institutional-facing roles in card networks, banking, or fintechs.
- Extensive experience with card issuing and BIN sponsorship setups in the U.S. in regulated environments.
- A proven track record in strategic procurement and partnership management with traditional financial institutions.
- The ability to bridge business strategy and product supporting partner selection and onboarding.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with teams like product, compliance, risk, finance, treasury, legal, procurement, and vendor management.
- Excellent sales, networking, and relationship building capabilities.
- Experience scaling partnerships in regulated markets with complex political and compliance challenges.
