About the Role of Paralegal at Real Hires
We're looking for a highly accurate, detail-driven Paralegal who thrives in fast-paced litigation environments. This role exists to keep cases moving, cleanly, correctly, and on time, by supporting attorneys from the first filing through final resolution. What You’ll Do
- Support the Full Litigation Lifecycle: Work alongside attorneys from case initiation through resolution, ensuring every filing, document, and deadline is handled correctly.
- Draft and Prepare Legal Filings: Prepare complaints, motions, and other litigation documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure Document Precision: Review and correct formatting, grammar, citations, and structure so every document meets court standards.
- Handle Electronic Court Filings: Submit filings through e-filing systems, track confirmations, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage High-Volume Documentation: Organize, compile, and maintain large volumes of case documents and records.
- Track Cases and Deadlines: Maintain case tracking systems so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Stay Court-Compliant: Ensure all filings comply with court rules, procedures, and formatting requirements.
- Support Case Operations: Assist with administrative and document-management tasks that keep litigation running smoothly.
What You Bring
- Experience supporting litigation matters
- Strong understanding of court procedures and filing requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Exceptional attention to detail and formatting accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple cases, documents, and deadlines
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using e-filing systems
- Understanding of how cases progress from start to resolution
- Familiarity with securities, stock market, or public company matters (plus)
- Experience with financial or market-related cases (plus)
