About the Role
The Administrative Assistant will support our finance and data operations team at Real Hires. This role blends administrative, customer service, and light data management responsibilities with a focus on managing patient responsibilities, billing, collections, and claims evaluation, especially for out-of-network clients.
What You’ll Do
- Review and monitor insurance claims to decide pursuit.
- Communicate with families about payments and direct checks.
- Maintain claim trackers, data sheets, and Excel workbooks.
- Clean and organize spreadsheets for clear data insights.
- Deliver professional and courteous client communication.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline operations.
- Assist in various administrative tasks to boost productivity.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in finance, healthcare, or billing.
- Advanced Excel skills including sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-service mindset with patience and persistence.
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
- A collaborative, proactive team-first attitude.
- Experience with Central Reach or similar healthcare management systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with billing, collections, or insurance processes (preferred).
