Reaktor's award-winning tech community is looking for Machine Learning Engineers to join us in Helsinki. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Reaktor, your primary objective is to transform proof of concepts and innovative ideas into robust, production-grade AI services that continuously deliver tangible value to our customers. You will play a crucial role in helping your team succeed and delivering impactful results.

Your Daily Tasks Include

• Working collaboratively with the client’s tech and business teams to select suitable technologies.
• Delivering project outcomes to the client and team according to needs.
• Building, deploying, and maintaining ML models for reliable, day-to-day production use.
• Creating architectures for continuous gathering of new training data for ML models.
• Building interfaces to deliver ML model results to end users.
• Engaging in other software development-related tasks, such as debugging, designing, and participating in architecture creation.

You will enjoy designing scalable machine learning architectures that efficiently process vast quantities of data and deliver refined results to end users.

What You'll Need to Thrive

• Hands-on experience in continuously developing and deploying machine learning models. While there's no hard limit, these competencies often take 3+ years to accumulate.
• Experience with common tools, libraries, and platforms in the field of machine learning.
• A good grasp of common machine-learning techniques.
• An understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• A solid programming foundation (Python required; Java, Javascript/Typescript, C++ are a plus).
• Experience working with data using SQL.
• You are a software engineer at heart and committed to clean, maintainable code.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients to understand their data needs.
• Fluency in both English and Finnish is preferable.
