Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer - SAP Experience

This role drives customer and business value through effective data engineering, modelling, and data transformation. You will lead the delivery of strategic data solutions, set up resilient data architectures, and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a data migration between Netsuite and SAP
  • Design and orchestrate automated, event-driven data pipelines and modelling approaches
  • Embed quality and scalable practices into data engineering processes
  • Implement modern code development and orchestration strategies, especially in the Google Cloud
  • Coach junior data engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Work with third-party partners for new data solutions
  • Ensure data privacy standards as the gatekeeper of customer data

What You Bring

  • Extensive expertise in RDBMS, Python, Hadoop, SQL, and Pyspark
  • Experience with GCP tools such as Dataproc and Dataflow
  • ERP knowledge, particularly Netsuite and SAP
  • Hands-on experience with Java and modern code development practices (Infrastructure-as-Code)
  • ETL/ELT technical design experience with automated testing and quality assurance
  • Proven experience in data warehousing, wrangling, and modelling
  • Experience coaching junior engineers and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in e-commerce/retail markets is beneficial
