Quality Automation Specialist

Join RBS as a Quality Automation Specialist. In this key role, you will undertake automated testing activities across all delivery models to ensure defect-free deployment of customer value. You will work closely with feature teams and various stakeholders to support the design of quality solutions that enable continuous integration.

What You'll Do

You will contribute to transforming testing practices using quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your focus will be on building repeatable, consistent quality into every phase of the idea-to-value lifecycle, reducing cost and time to market. You will:

• Support the design of automation test strategies aligned with business goals.
• Implement predictive and intelligent testing approaches using automation.
• Collaborate on refining manual and automated testing scopes including script creation.
• Design and create a low maintenance suite of reusable automated tests.
• Apply testing and delivery standards along with regulatory and compliance requirements.

The Skills You'll Need

The ideal candidate will bring experience in automated testing within Agile or CI/CD environments. You will be an innovative thinker capable of developing complex automation code and familiar with Agile methodologies. Essential skills include:

• Experience in end-to-end and automation testing using enterprise-recommended tools.
• Expertise in creating and implementing automation frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical ideas to management.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in at least five tools such as BDD/Cucumber, TestNG, CI/CD pipeline tools, GitLab, Selenium with Java, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter, Batch/shell scripting, AWS/cloud testing, DX APM, Splunk, and SQL.

Good to have experience with Mongo D, Kafka, and Streamsets.
