Vice President, Global Investment Banking Power Utilities & Infrastructure

Opportunity

RBC is seeking a Vice President in the Global Investment Banking group specializing in Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PU&I). In this role, you will play a critical part in originating and executing transactions across diverse industries including Energy Transition, Utilities, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a broad range of M&A advisory and financing transactions.
• Develop financial models forecasting operating and financial results.
• Create marketing materials, pitch books, confidential memorandums and teasers.
• Conduct in-depth research to monitor industry trends and opportunities.
• Partner with clients and consultants in due diligence processes.

Collaboration & Advisory

Work alongside product specialists across Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, and Hedging solutions to deliver complete advisory services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Prior experience in investment banking and M&A transactions.
• Ability to conduct independent research and analysis on market trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Nice to have: Experience with Power, Utilities & Infrastructure.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation ranging from $175,000 to $275,000 with additional incentive through a discretionary variable compensation program.
