Overview

RBC's Global Functions Technology (GFT) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for the Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime IT team. This role collaborates with business and IT partners to deliver high-performing applications related to investigations, case management workflows, and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams for requirements gathering.
  • Conduct gap analysis against project objectives and industry standards.
  • Develop detailed business and technical documentation including process maps.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams.
  • Support testing efforts and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Manage comprehensive project artifacts and resolve implementation issues.
  • Facilitate training and provide consulting services to business partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in business systems analysis and software development.
  • Experience with data mapping, ETL processes, and Big Data platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages.
  • Strong experience in Agile projects using Jira.
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime regulations.
