Overview
The Manager, High Risk Client Management supports the Senior Manager and Director by providing direction and execution of core risk decisions. This role focuses on the identification, review, management, and escalation of higher risk clients and ensures adherence to AML/CTF regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HRC EDD risk assessments and maintain Global Standards for Client Risk Management.
- Partner with FIU, Insights & Analytics, and Global AML Compliance for coordinated risk assessments.
- Manage on-boarding, periodic review, and escalation of high risk client processes.
- Create an environment for high performing employees through coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to ensure timely escalation of issues.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of Financial Crimes, AML/Fraud, and relevant regulatory frameworks. Experience in financial/money laundering crimes, AML Compliance, and effective communication skills are essential. Open source research skills are also required.
Preferred Skills
CAMS certification and additional language skills including French, Cantonese, or Mandarin.

Location & Additional Details
Address: 120 WESTERN PKY, Bedford, Canada. This is a full time, on-site position within RBC's Group Risk Management platform. The role offers 37.5 work hours per week and is salaried.
