Job Description
Manager, Digital Product Analytics at RBC
As a Manager, Digital Product Analytics, you will report to the Director of Digital Product Analytics to help digital teams understand the customer acquisition journey in our digital and physical channels. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering reports, dashboards and analytic deep-dives, as well as working with cross-functional teams to maintain data quality and integrity through monitoring analytics implementations to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
What will you do?
- Translate business problems into technical specifications and execute on requirements through the delivery of new reports, dashboards and analytic deep-dives
- Extract clear narratives from web and mobile data, combining analytical perspectives and domain knowledge to effectively tell the story around the client acquisition journey
- Own the end-to-end development of new reports in Tableau and Quicksight, providing stakeholders with visibility into key metrics
- Maintain and find areas to optimize existing reporting solutions
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected through analytics platform tagging and server-side tracking, working closely with cross-functional business analysts and developers to set requirements and monitor implementation
- Manage competing priorities, timelines, and expectations across multiple initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- 3+ years of work experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related roles within a large, complex organization
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Spark, Scala, or PySpark)
- Exposure to analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team
Nice-to-have:
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree with focus in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Accounting)
- Strong experience creating dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and/or Amazon Quicksight is a big plus
