Insurance Commissions Data Analyst Opportunity

The Insurance Commissions Data Analyst supports day-to-day projections, monthly and fiscal year end reporting, and performance tracking of the Inforce book of business. This role provides administrative and operational support for insurance commissions and assists head office staff with ad-hoc reporting requests. It also involves proactive data analysis and reporting to management, leading to improved performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update advisor profiles and Family Office Services (FOS) members on the database.
  • Update life insurance licensing records to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage commission contracts based on licensing and various business sources.
  • Update insurance commission rates and validate policy projections.
  • Investigate and escalate discrepancies in commission data.
  • Process Salesforce cases from field advisors.
  • Support fiscal reporting cycles and assist with commission projections.
  • Provide inforce book of business data reporting and trend identification to Senior Management.
  • Contribute to ongoing data cleanup and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

Must Haves: 3+ years of data analyst experience, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, proficiency in Excel and Power BI, strong organizational skills, and clear professional communication for internal teams and field advisors.

Nice-to-have: Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and knowledge of financial services or insurance commission processing.
