About the Role
The Director Communications CFO Group Communications acts as a strategic advisor to the CFO and global CFO Group leaders. This role is responsible for communicating RBC’s financial and strategic story through quarterly earnings, annual reports, and dynamic internal content and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise CFO and CFO Group leaders on internal and external communications.
- Contribute to quarterly earnings and annual report front section.
- Lead a team and craft compelling employee engagement content and events.
- Elevate the CFO’s voice across multiple channels including LinkedIn.
- Manage media relations and collaborate with Corporate Communications.
- Coach and develop direct reports ensuring growth and success.
Requirements
Candidates require 10+ years in strategic communications, public relations, or investor communications at large organizations, excellent writing skills, and proven people management experience. A strong understanding of current events and macroeconomic trends as they impact financial services is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in related field, Canadian Securities Course experience, and an interest in leveraging AI in communications.
