About Developer, RBC Amplify 2026
RBC Amplify is an intensive summer innovation program that challenges top students to design, build, and pitch transformative products. In a flexible startup-like environment, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to tackle real RBC business challenges.
The Opportunity
As a Developer, you will engage in research, design, creation, and development of a fully functional prototype addressing a genuine business need. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and industry standards under the guidance of subject matter experts, mentors, and coaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, data, and programming experts.
- Research, design, build, and pitch a viable product solution.
- Utilize agile methodologies, design thinking, and modern development tools.
- Engage with mentors, coaches, and executive sponsors during the project.
What You Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate is a current post-secondary student graduating between August 2026 and June 2027, with strong programming fundamentals, an understanding of databases, web technologies, and agile methodologies. Additional experience in cloud platforms, mobile development, DevOps, or full-stack technologies is a plus.
