Cryptography Governance Analyst at RBC
As a Cryptography Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding RBC's digital assets and ensuring compliance with evolving security standards. This position is integral to the Global Security team, focusing on advanced cryptographic practices, including the burgeoning field of quantum-safe cryptography.
What will you do?
- Participate actively in the quantum safe program office, contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate seamlessly with all technology pillars to drive the comprehensive adoption of quantum safe cryptography across the organization.
- Report regularly on quantum safe adoption progress, providing clear insights and metrics to stakeholders.
- Plan and execute critical workstreams within the quantum safe program, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the cryptography governance team to continuously maintain and enhance the robust cryptography governance framework.
- Participate in creating and maintaining essential policies and procedures for the effective execution of the cryptography governance program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the execution of cryptography governance processes to ensure stringent compliance with relevant security standards.
- Conduct thorough analysis of pertinent data and provide actionable recommendations for governance workstreams and the mitigation of cryptographic compliance risks.
- Stay diligently up-to-date with emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and evolving regulatory requirements in cryptography, providing expert guidance on their inclusion in cryptographic standards.
