Overview
RBC is seeking an Analyst, Securities Settlements for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will support the North American Securities Lending Trading Desk and Backoffice by analyzing and resolving escalated internal partner inquiries, ensuring optimal efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Field and resolve escalations related to internal cash and position reconciliation using enterprise tools.
- Review discrepancies for trends and provide process improvement recommendations.
- Monitor daily/weekly reports to ensure processing accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily cash and payments reconciliation including Nostro/Vostro, SWIFT wire transfers & ACH Payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies within cut-off timelines and escalate high-value exceptions.
- Prepare reconciliation reports ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Must-have: Excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and intermediate MS Office proficiency. Ability to embrace change, a high level of problem-solving, an inquisitive mindset, and teamwork.
Nice-to-have: Degree education or equivalent experience.
