Job Overview
This Portfolio Consultant – Asset Management Service role at Raymond James is focused on selling investment products to financial advisors, wealth managers, and institutional clients. You will proactively build relationships, educate clients, and drive territory sales strategies, all while maintaining a strong understanding of investment offerings including mutual funds, ETFs, model portfolios, and SMAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage financial professionals via multiple channels (phone, email, virtual, and in-person).
- Partner with external groups to implement sales strategies.
- Educate clients on product features and market trends.
- Maintain deep knowledge of investment products.
- Track and report sales activity using CRM tools.
- Provide exceptional service ensuring a seamless sales experience.

Certifications & Requirements
- FINRA Series 7 required upon hire.
- Ability to obtain additional licenses within six months.
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) certification.
Additional Information
This role requires less than 25% travel and follows a hybrid work arrangement. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with some practical sales experience.
