Job Description
Web Developer
Ravenwake Games is seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer for a temporary, remote position within the Platform department. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of engaging projects within a studio that is part of Enad Global 7, a global leader in video game development and publishing. You will contribute to crafting immersive worlds and unforgettable gameplay.
Responsibilities
- Build extensively designed web pages in HTML/CSS/JS to match mockups and functional requirements.
- Adapt page layouts for all screen sizes, including mobile, using responsive design principles.
- Extract and utilize images from PSD mockups for web use.
- Ensure high attention to detail in styling pages to precisely match mockups.
- Utilize REST APIs from JavaScript to fetch, process, present, and submit data.
- Debug web pages using browser developer tools (Chrome/Firefox JS debugger).
- Work with JSON data and edit it by hand.
- Follow established coding standards and utilize ESLint for code enforcement.
- Integrate CMS content into web pages.
- Manage code changes using version control software and deploy to different environments.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- LESS or SASS CSS preprocessors
- jQuery and Bootstrap
- Apache Velocity or similar templating language
- Apache Tomcat
- Apache Maven
- Perforce
- TypeScript and Angular 2+
- Docker
