Senior Project Manager, Operations
Ravenwake Games, a new studio within Enad Global 7, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Operations department. About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, management, and completion of Operations projects across the organization and its affiliates. This role focuses on enabling teams by driving technically complex initiatives such as platform services, tooling, infrastructure, and cross-studio programs. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, comfortable with multiple stakeholders, and excels at bringing structure, visibility, and predictability to cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex projects, define scope, milestones, and delivery plans. Drive execution against schedules while balancing quality, technical debt, and production realities. Define standardized project management processes and mentor other project managers.
- Cross-Team Project Leadership: Coordinate initiatives supporting multiple game and shared services teams. Own integrated project plans and enable alignment and execution without direct line management authority.
- Technical Enablement & Partnership: Translate technical strategies into clear execution plans, timelines, and risks. Ensure teams have visibility into delivery progress and partner closely with stakeholders to translate designs into executable project plans. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process & Delivery Governance: Establish and maintain consistent project management practices. Facilitate planning, execution, and retrospectives, focusing on delivery outcomes. Track progress, manage dependencies and risks, and implement continuous process improvements.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management: Act as a primary point of coordination between teams. Provide clear status reporting to leadership, manage expectations, and align project priorities with business objectives. Support go-to-market timelines and launch readiness.
- Risk, Dependency & Change Management: Identify and manage risks, drive mitigation plans, and manage changes while minimizing disruption. Support release coordination and adoption of services and tools. Ensure lessons learned are captured and applied.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior project or program management experience in technical/software organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or CSM certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-team, shared-services initiatives.
- Experience with budget planning and ROI analysis.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, infrastructure, and technical delivery models.
- High degree of initiative and self-starter mentality.
- Experience in data analytics is a plus.
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate without direct ownership of delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with high interdependency.
- Adaptability and agility to pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence, including project setup, dashboards, and reporting.
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills.
- Game Industry experience and a passion for games, especially MMOs.
- Comfortable reviewing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and release plans.
- Experience working in a centralized/shared services organization.
