Position Overview

RapidFort is looking for a technical Solutions Engineer to accelerate our growth in the US Enterprise segments. You will serve as the technical bridge between our platform capabilities and customer needs, helping organizations understand how RapidFort's Software Supply Chain Security platform can eliminate vulnerabilities and reduce attack surfaces without code changes.

Your Impact

Technical Discovery & Solution Design: Partner with Account Executives to uncover security pain points and design customized demonstrations showing how RapidFort's platform addresses vulnerability remediation, attack surface reduction, and compliance acceleration.

Product Expertise & Customer Education: Deliver technical presentations on DevTime Protection Tools, Near-Zero CVE Images, and RunTime Protection capabilities; guide security teams through hands-on proof-of-concept evaluations; articulate technical and business value.

Sales Methodology & Deal Progression: Utilize sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities, and establish credibility with technical decision-makers.

Security & Compliance Consulting: Advise on container security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, STIG/CIS) while positioning RapidFort as a solution for accelerated compliance readiness.

Market Intelligence: Stay current on competitive positioning and provide product feedback to help shape RapidFort's roadmap.

What You Bring

Technical Foundation: 7+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales role, with hands-on experience using containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Sales Acumen: Proven track record in structured sales methodologies, supporting complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional presentation and written communication skills, capable of adjusting technical depth to the audience.

Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, self-motivated, and eager for continuous learning in the security landscape.

Location & Eligibility

This role is based on the West Coast of the United States and requires U.S. Citizenship due to the need to access export-controlled information.

Compensation

Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 per year
