Systems Engineer Senior - Kwajalein Atoll

RGNext operates, maintains, and sustains mission-critical systems for safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of DoD and international space vehicles. Employees work on ballistic missile, guided weapon, aeronautical tests, and space situational awareness to protect national security.

This role involves working on land and sea-based Flight Safety systems in the tropical Marshall Islands and aboard the USAV Worthy. The position includes planning and executing improvement projects, troubleshooting, system configuration, documentation, and interfacing with multiple stakeholders including government agencies and vendors.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate and troubleshoot processing and display computers, networks, and telemetry systems.
  • Plan and execute improvement projects including testing and analysis reports.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and document mission support systems.
  • Support operations on Kwajalein Atoll or aboard the USAV Worthy with possible travel to Hawaii and CONUS.
  • Engage in troubleshooting efforts, fault detection, isolation, repair, and reporting.
  • Author mission preparation and execution documentation and interface with RTS customers.
  • Support RF Safety through surveys, analysis, and incident investigation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related STEM discipline.
  • Military, technical, or post-degree work experience of 2+ years.
  • Proven technical leadership and ability to capture, define, and evaluate requirements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office and Project skills.
  • Experience with IP networking, troubleshooting, and improving system processes.

Additional Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
  • Willingness and physical ability to work at sea and on towers.
  • Ability to travel including work aboard a ship and to neighboring islands.
