About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. In this role, you’ll work across frontend integrations and server-side logic, contributing to APIs, business logic, and user-facing functionality. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy working with JavaScript end to end, want exposure to backend systems, and are looking to grow within modern, product-focused engineering teams.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs consumed by frontend applications.
- Write clean, maintainable JavaScript code following best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver features end to end.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase.
- Support application reliability, scalability, and security.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of professional experience with JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js in production environments.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (React, Vue, Angular, or similar).
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node frameworks.
- Experience working in cloud environments or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
