Your Role: Impact Analysis, Strategy, and Target Architecture

You will join a major telecommunications player on a strategic project. Your primary mission will be to lead the impact study for replacing a network information system application that is being decommissioned in favor of a new solution. Working within a dynamic environment in Lyon, blending V-model and agile methodologies, you will be the key liaison between business and technical teams.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Map data flows and identify current technical interfaces (API, files, shared databases) between the outgoing and partner applications.
• Analyze the target architecture and document the gaps between the existing and future IT systems.
• Evaluate the impacts on data models, processing, and business processes of the affected applications.
• Propose, compare, and recommend technical solution scenarios based on functional and economic criteria.
• Estimate development and testing efforts, while developing the projected implementation roadmap.
• Coordinate exchanges with domain managers, delivery teams, and IT architects to ensure solution coherence.

Compensation: Starting from 42k gross annually.

The Ideal Profile

We are looking for an experienced IT consultant capable of understanding complex systems with strong methodological rigor. If you have a passion for analysis and can navigate between strategic vision and technical details, this challenge is for you.

Your Technical Skills and Experience

• Proven expertise in functional and technical analysis, and IT impact study methodologies.
• Proficiency in modeling tools (UML, BPMN) and data flow mapping is essential.
• Comfortable with effort estimation techniques for large-scale IT projects.
• Knowledge of TMF (modeling, API) or Enterprise Architect tool would be a significant advantage.
• Prior experience in the telecommunications sector or with IT architecture issues is highly desirable.

Your Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication across diverse stakeholders (both business and IT).
• Autonomy in conducting analyses while ensuring precise and regular reporting.
• Proven synthesis skills to clearly communicate complex issues to decision-makers.
