About the Role
The Sales Development Representative at Ramp is an entry-level position designed for new college graduates. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, responsible for hunting and qualifying leads through inbound and outbound strategies.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach.
- Qualify prospects with consultative selling using BANT criteria.
- Grow the sales funnel via warm and cold outbound campaigns.
- Research companies and prospect lists for targeted outreach.
- Maintain relationship data in Salesforce.
What You Need
Candidates should be graduating in 2025 with a B.S. (or higher) from a 4-year accredited university. Strong communication, listening skills, and energetic phone presence are critical, along with comfort in using sales, prospecting, and marketing tools. A self-starting attitude and interest in solving business challenges are a must.
Nice to Haves
- Previous customer-facing and sales experience.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Background in financial services or high-growth startups.
- A demonstrated ability to understand financial challenges.
Compensation & Benefits
For candidates in NYC or SF, pay ranges from $76,000 to $104,500; all other locations range from $68,000 to $93,500. U.S.-based full-time employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, a 401k plan with matching, flexible PTO, and additional perks such as a wellness stipend and relocation support.
