About the Role

The Staff Product Designer will join Ramp’s design team to deliver delightful user experiences. This individual contributor role focuses on evolving design processes, owning complete projects, and enhancing the user experience across key product areas. The role requires relocation to NYC.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead design and user experience for significant product areas.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to transform strategy into actionable initiatives.
  • Break down ambiguous problems and prioritize high impact work.
  • Create prototypes, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs.
  • Collaborate to evolve product vision, design systems, and brand guidelines.
  • Participate in design critiques, stand-ups, and story creation sessions.
  • Help hire and mentor new design talent, including interns.

What You Need

Minimum 8 years of tech/startup or digital product agency experience; proficiency in end-to-end product design with strong visual and UX/UI skills; excellent communication and collaboration; and a background in visual/interaction design, branding & identity, and typography.

Nice-to-Haves

Understanding software engineering workflows, and a kind, curious, and generous attitude with a good sense of humor.
