About The Role

As a member of Ramp's Fraud Strategy team, you will develop and optimize fraud strategies using data. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, sales, and design.

What You’ll Do

  • Leverage internal and external data for fraud policy insights.
  • Conduct root cause analyses on individual fraud events.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams.
  • Implement and monitor fraud risk metrics.
  • Partner with data scientists to build fraud risk models.
  • Innovate on underwriting and fraud decision systems.

What You Need

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud risk management or quantitative strategy.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in high-growth startups.
  • Background in consumer/corporate cards, payments, or lending industries.

Compensation

For NYC or SF candidates: $151,500 - $208,350; For others: $136,400 - $187,550.
