About the Role
The Senior Design Engineer - Design Systems will shape how designers and engineers collaborate to deliver outstanding experiences rapidly. You will empower our design and engineering teams by evolving and maintaining our cross-platform design system through front-end libraries, infrastructure, documentation, and internal tooling.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and evolve Ramp’s design system across platforms.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to implement tooling.
- Enhance user experience and accessibility across products.
- Document design processes and guidelines to improve consistency.
- Support recruitment efforts by helping to hire talented individuals.
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tech startups, digital product agencies, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency with Figma and Product Design software.
- Expertise in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and Javascript (React preferred).
- Experience in maintaining reusable component libraries and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills bridging design and engineering.
