About the Role

As a Senior Design Engineer - Design Systems, you will be instrumental in shaping the collaboration between design and engineering. You will maintain and evolve Ramp’s cross-platform design system, help build internal tooling, work on both design and code, and drive exceptional digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and evolve Ramp’s cross-platform design system.
  • Enhance product design through clear documentation and guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams.
  • Focus on user experience, accessibility, and quality.
  • Support and advocate for both design and engineering teams.

What You Need

  • Minimum 5 years in tech/startup or digital product agency.
  • Strong experience with Figma and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, React).
  • Proven track record in component library maintenance and design detail execution in code.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical peers.
  • Solid understanding of accessibility development practices.
