Role Summary
The Assistant, Digital Technology Product Design Researcher is responsible for planning and executing usability tests, analyzing user behavior, and delivering actionable insights to improve product experiences. The role emphasizes user-centered research across digital platforms and may require bilingual capabilities in Korean or Japanese to support localized sessions and cultural insights.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute usability tests across websites, mobile apps, and prototypes.
- Recruit, screen, and coordinate study participants ensuring cultural and user diversity.
- Conduct sessions in Korean or Japanese when needed, including translation support.
- Analyze findings and deliver reports, readouts, and presentations that influence business decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to align research with product strategy.
- Advocate for user and cultural needs and support competitive intelligence efforts across APAC markets.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Hands-on contribution in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Strong communication and presentation skills are required. Bilingual ability in Korean or Japanese is a plus for translation and cultural interpretation.
