  • Impact: Shape how product, design, and research teams connect with users and scale high-quality research.
  • Team: Join the Sales team, collaborating closely with Product, Design, Research, and Go-To-Market partners.
  • Work style: Remote-first within the United States, emphasizing async collaboration and optional in-person onsites.

About Rally UXR

Rally is the User Research CRM, streamlining the process for product, design, and research teams to interact with users quickly, safely, and at scale. Our platform automates participant recruitment, outreach, screening, scheduling, consent, and incentives, allowing teams to focus on learning from customers rather than manual tasks.

Leading companies like Google, Adobe, Figma, GitLab, MongoDB, and Webflow trust Rally to integrate continuous research into their product decisions. User research is evolving, moving from ad-hoc projects to continuous learning, and Rally is at the forefront, building the essential infrastructure for scalable and impactful research.

Backed by top investors including Y Combinator, Stage 2 Capital, and Canapi Ventures, Rally is rapidly expanding as more teams recognize continuous research as a competitive advantage.

About The Team

The Rally Sales team is a highly collaborative and user-focused group dedicated to enhancing research for both customers and participants.

  • We partner with UX Researchers, Research Ops leaders, designers, and product managers at prominent user-centric companies.
  • We leverage Rally internally, conducting studies on our platform and integrating insights into our product roadmap.
  • We thrive in small, empowered teams, emphasizing high ownership and a tight feedback loop among customers, product, and engineering.

The Opportunity

Rally UXR is driving a significant shift in how companies run user research, transitioning from one-off projects to continuous learning. As an Account Executive, you will help define this future, both for Rally's product and for the teams relying on us for scalable research. You'll join a company with strong product-market fit, a growing customer base, and compelling challenges to solve.

As a foundational member of the Sales team, you will build Rally's revenue engine, managing strategic mid-market and enterprise deals and establishing the playbooks, processes, and tools for future AEs. You will sell a platform beloved by Product, Design, and Research teams, often described by customers as the "light at the end of the tunnel" for research operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Research and Research Ops leaders at mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Develop targeted outbound strategies to identify, engage, and create opportunities within priority accounts.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise clients, from discovery and tailored demos to negotiation and closing.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Rally and Research Ops, providing expert advice and designing high-impact solutions for prospects.
  • Contribute to improving sales processes and playbooks based on your field experience.
  • Act as the internal advocate for prospects, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer journey.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in a new-business, quota-carrying role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed annual quotas of ~$1M+, closing complex deals of ~$100K+ contract value.
  • Expertise in enterprise software sales, including navigating internal champions, aligning with executive initiatives, and multi-threading across various functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail across all formats and audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for building Sales foundations at a fast-growing startup, contributing to process refinement and tooling evolution.
  • Innate curiosity, strong work ethic, a focus on impact, and a proactive builder mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience in building or contributing to sales playbooks, processes, or enablement programs.
  • Prior experience selling to Research, Design, and Product teams, including executive-level stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for Rally's mission and the user research domain.

How We Work

Rally operates as a remote-first company across the US and Canada, prioritizing async communication and clear documentation. Meetings are reserved for collaboration, decision-making, and relationship building.

  • Remote-first: Work from anywhere in the US, with core collaboration hours aligning across US time zones.
  • In-person connection: Periodic team or company onsites for relationship building and strategic work.
  • High ownership: Significant responsibility and trust to achieve outcomes from day one.
  • Customer-driven: Constant user engagement informs decisions across all departments.
