About the Role

Raise is hiring a Tosca/Qtest Test Automation Consultant on behalf of one of Canada’s largest electrical energy suppliers. This role focuses on enhancing test automation capabilities for SAP S/4HANA systems, ensuring high quality and reliable software solutions for critical energy and utilities projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and stabilize existing Tosca test cases.
  • Design and automate new test scenarios across SAP S/4HANA modules.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to validate business processes and test coverage.
  • Configure and utilize Tosca’s Distributed Execution (DEX) for regression runs.
  • Integrate Tosca with TDS and other Tricentis tools for data-driven testing.
  • Troubleshoot automation challenges across SAP GUI, Fiori, and related interfaces.
  • Work with IT and SAP teams to resolve environment and test data issues.
  • Create detailed test plans and document defect lifecycle management.
  • Design test environments and execute performance tests under varied conditions.
  • Communicate test results, KPI, and risks to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on automation experience using Tricentis Tosca.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA testing projects.
  • Proficient in Tosca DEX setup, Tosca Commander, and TDS.
  • Experience with qTest or similar test management tools.
  • Excellent knowledge in REST and SAP API testing.
  • Certified in Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2; Test Data Specialist 1 & 2 training.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Understanding of DevOps and Agile delivery environments.
  • Experience with automated test tools like HP UFT and defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
  • Ability to independently optimize test workflows and identify automation opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
