IT Business Analyst at Raise

Responsibilities

  • Closely work with treasury and liquidity stakeholders to understand key business requirements in the funding space and work with globally located agile dev teams to deliver solutions.
  • Validate the gaps by performing current state analysis using data exploration tools like SQL, Excel, etc.
  • Propose solutions to funding problems and business requirements informed and driven by data analysis.
  • Drive execution of the tech build with the development team.

Must-have Skills

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 8–10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in Banking, with hands-on experience working in a Capital Markets environment
  • Experience working as an IT BA or equivalent in capital markets, Treasury/ Liquidity, risk, or finance functions.
  • Exposure to Settlement and Risk Management.
  • Strong data analysis skills (non-negotiable)
  • SQL expertise—writing complex queries and identifying data patterns (5+ years, non-negotiable)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in requirements planning, elicitation and prioritization
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to lead requirements gathering, deliver complex information in a structured manner for both technical and business audiences, and facilitate inclusive discussions for diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills to build strong partner relationships and influence outcomes.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Experience with Python
  • Liquidity management experience (highly preferred if Capital Markets exposure is limited)
  • CBAP certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
  • Master’s degree or Industry qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent
  • Experience with Asset liability Reporting and/or Fund Transfer Pricing
