What We're Looking For
Rain is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to own, grow, and maximize the revenue potential of our most valuable accounts. You will be the post-sales relationship manager, commercial lead, and trusted advisor for fintechs, neobanks, and enterprise partners leveraging Rain's infrastructure. This role combines commercial growth, customer success, and business strategy by driving adoption, expansion, and retention through commercial instincts paired with a deep understanding of our product.
What You'll Do
- Own the customer lifecycle from post-sales onboarding through adoption, renewal, and expansion.
- Drive expansion revenue via strategic upselling, cross-selling, and geographic growth.
- Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives by understanding their business models and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio health with predictive revenue modeling, KPI dashboards, and executive QBRs.
- Anticipate customer needs, guide accounts to scale into new markets and products, and communicate feedback to product teams.
What You Will Bring To Rain
- 5–8+ years in Strategic Account Management, Enterprise Sales, or Customer Success in fintech, payments, or banking-as-a-service.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets with managed portfolios of $10M+.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in complex contracts and pricing models.
- Fluency in payments and fintech concepts including card transactions, KYC/AML, and fundamentals of crypto.
- Technical comfort with APIs and dashboards and excellent written/spoken communication skills.
- Organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
Desirable but not Mandatory
- Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, or other CRMs.
- Global account experience across multiple time zones.
- Exposure to fast-moving sectors like fintech or crypto.

Compensation
Compensation will vary based on experience from $100,000 to $210,000.
