Role Overview

As our DevOps Engineer, you will use your passion for DevOps to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks, ensuring efficient software delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams, fellow DevOps engineers, software engineers, and technologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and Azure
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
  • Deliver the Platform Team goals for 2025 and beyond

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or related role
  • Proficient in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with automation and configuration management
  • Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Version control with Git and CI/CD using Jenkins
  • Networking fundamentals and security practices
  • Monitoring, logging, alerting and incident management
  • Cloud cost optimisation
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience maintaining production platforms

Desirable Skills

  • Expertise in Azure cloud platform
  • Familiarity with Java and Golang
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of PKI and Certificate Authorities
  • Understanding encryption protocols
