Resident Engineer

The Advanced Services - onsite Resident Engineer role is based in Germany for a major customer. In this role, you will lead the architecture design, implementation, and maintenance of Radware's security portfolio according to best practices while working onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer post-sales relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal and customer relationships.
  • Lead customer onboarding and technical customizations.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Global Support, Cloud Operations, R&D and Product Management.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues on Radware equipment.
  • Develop operational procedures and conduct periodic service tuning.
  • Generate reports and coordinate with pre-sale teams for new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in networking & security integration.
  • Experience with L2/L3 Switching/Routing and L4/L7 switching (Cisco, Juniper).
  • Hands-on experience with Load Balancers, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, IPSec.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
  • Industry standard networking/security certifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills in English.

Additional Advantage

Familiarity with Radware’s product portfolio is a plus.
