Overview
At Radio-Canada (CBC/Radio-Canada), we create content that informs, entertains, and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. The Data Governance Analyst - Privacy and Data Team will work within Digital Strategy and Product to support the implementation of a Consent Management Platform (CMP) and maintain data governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an in-house expert on the CMP for stakeholders.
- Assume the data steward role and support the evolution of data governance standards.
- Analyze business and user requirements to improve processes.
- Document analyses, potential solutions, and support end-to-end testing.
- Assist with reporting, vendor management, and CMP maintenance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides and process flows.
- Support user retention strategy and share emerging industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar role.
- Post-secondary credentials in business analysis, marketing, or related fields.
- Expertise in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Consent Management and Privacy by Design principles.
- Bilingual (EN/FR) preferred; strong communication skills required.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
Additional Information
This is an 18-month contract position. It is a hybrid work arrangement with both in-office and remote work opportunities. Candidates may be subject to skills testing and background checks. The primary location is at Broadcast Centre, 205 Wellington St. W., Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3G7.
