Role Summary
The Payments Operations Analyst supports Radial’s Payments Operations organization through financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Payments Operations, this role partners closely with business, finance, audit, and leadership teams to deliver accurate reporting, insights, and operational support across the payments ecosystem.
With a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, the Payments Operations Analyst fulfills internal and external reporting requests, recovery operations, supports audits, and helps identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational costs. This role contributes to documenting procedures and controls, supports automation initiatives, and plays a key role in strengthening the overall efficiency and reliability of Radial’s payment operations.
Responsibilities
- Support business teams with internal and external payments reporting, recovery, and analysis.
- Fulfill reporting and analysis requests from senior management and external auditors.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to automate and streamline payment processes and analytical workflows.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs within payment operations.
- Assist the Director of Payments Operations with reviewing, documenting, and maintaining procedures and controls.
- Collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc payments projects and operational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to perform big-picture analysis while maintaining precision.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to quickly learn business structures and the payments landscape.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word.
Travel
This position is remote. Travel is not required.
