Quince is a tech company disrupting retail by integrating AI, analytics, and automation into every aspect of our operations. Our core values guide our commitment to excellence: Customer First, High Quality, Essential Design, Always a Better Deal, and Social & Environmental Responsibility.

We partner with world-class manufacturers globally, serving millions of customers. With strong investor backing and a focus on sustainable growth, Quince is rapidly scaling while maintaining a dedication to quality, simplicity, and radical price transparency.

Our Team and Success

At Quince, you will join a high-performing team redefining quality, value, and sustainability in modern retail. We are a destination for builders, innovators, and operators to challenge the status quo. Our collective ambition is to create a new category and customer experience that democratizes luxury and provides high-quality products at radically low prices. This mission demands a world-class team committed to excellence.

If you are motivated by impact, growth, and purpose, you will find a strong sense of belonging at Quince.

The Role: Senior Sourcing Manager, Furniture

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager, Furniture to join our growing Home team, reporting to the VP of Home Sourcing. In this role, you will lead vendor relationships and sourcing strategy for Quince’s North America–based Home Hard Lines categories, with a particular focus on Made-to-Order (MTO) upholstery products. You will play a critical role in building and scaling our North American-based manufacturing network, including close partnership with fabric mills.

Success in this position means driving best-in-class vendor onboarding and development, ensuring quality and compliance, negotiating costs to deliver margin improvement, and enabling operational excellence across the region. You will partner closely with Home Merchandising, Planning, Design, and Operations to bring high-quality products to market quickly and reliably, supporting Quince’s mission to make luxury-quality home goods accessible.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing strategy and vendor relationships for North America–based manufacturers of Home Hard Line products (both MTO and stocked), including fabric mills.
  • Lead cost negotiations, contracts, and margin improvement initiatives with Americas-based suppliers.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factory partners with high quality standards, scalable capacity, and reliable lead times.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to launch new products efficiently and reliably.
  • Visit key vendor partners regularly to troubleshoot issues, audit quality and delivery performance, and build long-term strategic relationships.
  • Drive factory-side product development cycles in close partnership with Design and Merchandising.
  • Ensure successful order execution with vendors by reviewing production timelines, ensuring SLA adherence, accelerating production where needed, and optimizing quick-ship performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Quince’s ethical sourcing, social responsibility, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

Required:
  • 7+ years of sourcing experience with a strong track record in furniture and/or Home Hard Lines manufacturing and vendor management.
  • Deep understanding of furniture production processes, including Made-to-Order upholstery and casegoods.
  • Experience working within the premium or luxury furniture segment.
  • Proven strength in cost negotiation, commercial decision-making, and margin optimization.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and adaptable; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Based in the United States (remote), with the ability to travel to vendor partners approximately 1–2 times per month.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with higher-end furniture brands.
  • Prior experience as an e-commerce Category Manager.
  • Candidates based in the SF Bay Area will be required to work in a hybrid capacity, 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). All candidates outside of that region will be able to work in a fully remote capacity. No relocation is required.
