The Role: Data Analyst, Supply Chain
We are seeking a self-starting, problem-solving Data Analyst with expertise in leveraging technology and data for top-tier analytics solutions. The ideal candidate excels at tackling complex business challenges, making sound decisions quickly amidst ambiguity, and thrives in an environment that values strategy, innovation, distributed decision-making, transparency, agility, and data-driven insights. You will be expected to uphold high standards and serve Quince customers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, shipping and delivery performance, and contact rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, product, and finance, to support data-driven decisions for supply chain optimization and international expansion.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify operational inefficiencies, cost-reduction opportunities, and areas for enhancing customer experience.
- Implement data quality and governance practices, working with the US analytics team to promote best practices in supply chain analytics and AI usage.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to support A/B testing experiments on the supply chain or e-commerce sides, focusing on improving the post-purchase experience.
- Be an integral part of the international team and contribute to its growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or similar). A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics or product analytics, preferably with a focus on supply chain within an e-commerce or technology company.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mixpanel).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex data, translate it into actionable insights, with a focus on detail, accuracy, and clarity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Based in Berlin with the ability to work in the Berlin office 4 days per week.
