About the Web and Digital Interface Designer Role at Quik Hire Staffing

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Web and Digital Interface Designer for an hourly contract role, creating intuitive, high-performing, and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This remote position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and optimize modern interfaces, while also contributing domain expertise to crucial AI training initiatives. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on interface design, full-stack awareness, and advanced technical integration, providing an exciting opportunity to help shape AI-powered digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, user-centered web and mobile interfaces.
  • Collaborate with management, developers, and stakeholders to integrate e-commerce and digital product strategies.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform interface improvements.
  • Translate real-world design workflows into structured insights for AI model training.
  • Evaluate AI-generated interface outputs for usability, accuracy, and modern design standards.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in coordination with network and hosting teams.
  • Contribute to scalable system architecture using modern frameworks and development tools.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, frameworks, and AI-driven development technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience with modern web frameworks and tools including React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and platforms such as J2EE, Scala, Swift, jQuery, and UNIX Shell.
  • Experience developing for Apple iOS, Google Android, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure including Amazon EC2.
  • Familiarity with data processing and streaming tools such as Apache Kafka, Maven, and Spark.
  • Strong database and querying skills, including Transact-SQL.
  • Understanding of algorithms and scalable system design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience participating in AI training, model evaluation, or digital product optimization initiatives.
  • Background collaborating with distributed, cross-functional technical teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful digital interface projects with measurable usability or performance improvements.
