Software Architect (Remote)

We help the world's most innovative AI companies improve their models through human expertise. We're hiring computer science professionals - software engineers, researchers, architects, and specialists to evaluate AI-generated technical content, write domain-specific prompts, and assess model accuracy across algorithms, distributed systems, cybersecurity, and other core CS domains. Your expertise on code and systems becomes the ground truth AI can't learn without you.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated content across software engineering, algorithms, systems, security, and core computer science
  • Write prompts and questions that test AI reasoning on technical CS problems
  • Review and rank AI responses for factual accuracy, technical depth, and engineering rigor
  • Audit AI chain-of-thought reasoning on algorithms, system design, and complex CS problems

Who Qualifies

You're a strong fit if you have professional experience in one or more of the following:

  • Software engineering, software development, or full stack/backend engineering
  • AI engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI/ML systems work
  • Distributed systems, systems engineering, or platform engineering
  • Cybersecurity engineering, application security, or information security
  • Computer science research, applied research, or research engineering
  • Algorithm design, theoretical computer science, information theory, or computational science
  • Software architecture, staff/principal engineering, or systems design

Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience at a technology company, research lab, AI startup, software firm, or university research group
  • Strong written English; ability to explain CS concepts clearly and precisely

Compensation & Schedule

  • $150/hr rate varies by domain expertise, project complexity, and seniority; top of range reserved for PhD and senior practitioners
  • Additional incentives, contributors earn an average 7.5% extra through Missions, top quartile boosts earnings by an average of 11%
