Humor Analyst and Content Rater - Remote
Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Humor Analyst and Content Rater for one of our AI research clients. This remote, hourly contract position is perfect for someone deeply immersed in North American teen internet culture.
As a Humor Analyst and Content Rater, you will play a crucial role in evaluating short-form humorous content popular among North American teens. Your insights will directly support AI training initiatives by assessing humor quality, cultural relevance, and clarity in digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Review diverse short-form humorous content, including memes, short videos, posts, and scripts.
- Evaluate humor based on structured criteria like relatability, originality, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Clearly articulate explanations for why specific content is funny, awkward, outdated, or unclear.
- Reference North American slang, current trends, and social norms in your humor analysis.
- Identify recurring humor formats, popular meme styles, and cultural signals within teen communities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong familiarity with North American teen internet culture and digital trends is essential.
- Comfortable analyzing and articulating various humor styles and cultural nuances.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of providing clear and logical explanations.
- Detail-oriented and committed to consistent application of rating criteria.
- Able to commit to a structured weekly schedule with required Pacific Standard Time (PST) overlap.
Engagement Details
- This is an independent contractor assignment (no medical benefits or paid leave).
- The role is fully remote.
- Work 30 hours per week, with a mandatory 4-hour PST overlap.
- The initial duration is 1 month.
- Compensation is up to $20 per hour.
